“Beim Tangotanzen liebe ich die enge Umarmung, wie viele meiner Mittänzer*innen hier in Deutschland.
Dennoch: eng und eng sind hier zwei Paar Schuhe. Was oft dabei herauskommt, ist, dass man in „locker-engem“ Kontakt tanzt. Meist ist sogar der Wangenkontakt das Intensivste an Berührung dabei; im Brustbereich, wo es wirklich intensiv sein könnte, bleibt der Kontakt recht vage. Und beim Gehen fehlt Erdung und Energie.
Seitdem ich Helene Eriksens Unterricht kenne, weiß ich, dass es auch anders geht (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes „energetisch geht“): Eine enge Umarmung, die wirklich aus einer guten Erdung heraus Intensität und Energie in den Kontakt im Brustbreich bringt und eine wunderbare Aufrichtung und differenzierte Bewegung im Paar ermöglicht.
