Bulgarian Dances
In pre WWII Bulgaria, village life was regulated by the seasons. Hard work in the fields dominated much of the year. In the colder seasons people gathered in the evenings for work parties called Sedjanka. This was a time for handicrafts, for boys and girls to meet, sing, tell stories and dance.
