Qashqa'i Folk Dances
Raqs-e Dastmal of the Qashqa’i Nomads of Southern Iran The Qashqa'i are a pastoral nomadic, Turkic people from the southern Iranian province of Fars, near the city of Shiraz. They are famous carpet weavers. The women wear incredibly colourful clothes, with many full skirts, one on top of the other, even while doing everyday tasks such as herding goats, milking, cooking and weaving.
